My story:
Protruding rock ledges, verdant hillsides, reflecting water, stoic trees. These are the simple materials that surround Taliesin and comprise it either metaphorically or in literal fact of construction. Taliesin embodies the delights and pleasures of the nature around it – by constantly enticing the eye, through arrangement of space or folding of trim. The buildings are one piece of a whole that includes, agriculture, landscapes, collections, and life. The mystery lies in the interweaving of all of these things and is constantly revealing itself. Never fully revealing itself to any one person, stimulating constant thought and discussion.
